Community Action Meeting: Tertiary Education

The Abbott/Pyne threats to tertiary education are set to have devastating impacts on the entire community. So on October 15th, Fair Go for Canberra is hosting a Community Action Meeting to bring together Canberrans from various community sectors and backgrounds to build a community-wide, grassroots alliance that stands for quality and accessible public education.

We're building a campaign to crush these unjust policies, which are likely to triple some degree costs and stymie students with a lifetime of debt - effectively making tertiary education an exclusive privilege for the rich. The meeting is an opportunity for the community to voice their concerns and participate in building the campaign.

Join us in telling the Abbott Government that the public do not want deregulated universities - we demand quality education available to all.
